(Note: Generated by Wordpress AI. Enjoy): The E-Race Cancer Half Marathon took place on October 22, 2023, in Bridgeport, NY. It was a small-town race with a unique course, including paved roads, leaf-covered paths, and even a section through someone’s backyard. With limited crowd support but a festive Halloween theme, the event offered a 5km, 10km, and half marathon, with 93, 28, and 72 finishers respectively. Post-race activities included a party with music, food, and drinks. Despite its quirks, it was commended as being well-organized.

Fun, fairly local small venue race in the USA, less than a 90 minute drive from Ottawa! Great SWAG, chip timing, with cash prizes(!) for top 3 finishers. While other folks are in Boston, why not do a day-trip next year and start the running season off with a 21.1 with Maple Syrup on the course!
Around The Bay with Harold
Start and finish in the FirstOntario Centre, so no waiting around in the cold at the beginning, and a super stadium entry on the finish! The course is a Classic ‘Older Than Boston’, since 1894. Recovery time is much longer. Winter training, blizzards, flying on ice (actually falling), running only 3 days…
