H&H at the Canton Maple Run
Fun, fairly local small venue race in the USA, less than a 90 minute drive from Ottawa! Great SWAG, chip timing, with cash prizes(!) for top 3 finishers. While other folks are in Boston, why not do a day-trip next year and start the running season off with a 21.1 with Maple Syrup on the course!
Around The Bay with Harold
Start and finish in the FirstOntario Centre, so no waiting around in the cold at the beginning, and a super stadium entry on the finish! The course is a Classic ‘Older Than Boston’, since 1894. At 30K, not your standard distance, and plenty of characters on the route that make this a must-do at least once. Final 10K has rolling hills, and it’s a 2K downhill slope to the finish! Visit original Tim Horton’s in Hamilton as a Bonus!
