Mad Trapper Night Race

Mad Trapper Night (Snowshoe) Race, held at The Ark in Denholm, QC, offered a unique and thrilling experience. The event featured 3K, 5K, and 10K courses through the hilly terrain, with loaner snowshoes available. The night run, illuminated by headlamps, provided a challenging yet exhilarating adventure. After the race, participants enjoyed a warm reception at The Ark, including chili, hot chocolate, and camaraderie. Piel highly recommends the event, advising participants to bring a complete change of clothes, fully charged headlamp, and a sense of adventure. This unforgettable winter experience received a fantastic 5-star rating for both the venue and course.

This event took place in the evening of Jan-8 at Upper Canada Heritage Village that boasts an impressive Christmas Light display of 1,000,000 colored lights to illuminate the starting area.
