Richmond Road Race is the first RunOttawa race of the year, and always well attended by the Ottawa Running Community. Its always great to see so many friends out, and almost feels like a reunion. We had 13 (!) RunK2J Club members running this year in ideal conditions of 0C, with dry road surface too. Race Report from Ben & Janice. Spoiler alert: Janice is pumped about a 10K PB, breaking the 1-hour mark for the first time! Ben finished his 21st running of this venue.

Pat’s 10K at 9-Run-Run
The route was primarily on the TransCanada Trail so it was very scenic with the forest all around. The trail itself was packed earth rather than asphalt which made it easier on the legs. Funds raised for this event go to our first responders mental health. You will see captain of the police, firemen, and paramedics at the finish line handing out medals.
Fredericton Fathers Day Run
Great small venue run on a nice course in Fredericton if you happened to be there at the right time, for a modest $35 entry fee. Support the local UNB Track Club.
